Job Description
The Placement Manager will be responsible for establishing, nurturing, and expanding corporate relationships for ensuring employability outcomes under the NCSDE Skill and Training Initiatives. The role involves handling end-to-end placement processes for candidates trained under our professional programs, creating industry alliances, managing job fairs, and ensuring alignment of training modules with industry needs. The position requires dynamic networking, strategic planning, and proactive communication with organizations across sectors for internship and full-time job placements.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and monitor the organization’s placement strategy aligned with program objectives.
• Build long-term relationships with corporates, industries, and HR partners for placement opportunities.
• Coordinate with training teams to ensure student readiness for interviews and assessments.
• Organize job fairs, campus drives, and recruitment sessions in collaboration with partner employers.
• Maintain detailed employer databases, contact records, and placement dashboards.
• Facilitate Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with companies for recurring hiring partnerships.
• Ensure placement documentation, offer letters, and joining formalities are handled efficiently.
• Track post-placement data to monitor retention and satisfaction of placed candidates.
• Collaborate with career counselors to provide post-placement support and career guidance.
• Prepare monthly placement reports and KPI analysis for management review.
Desired Skills & Competencies
• Strong networking and corporate liaisoning capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Proven ability to negotiate MoUs and manage multiple employer accounts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and placement tracking systems.
• Ability to plan and execute large-scale recruitment and placement events.
• Strategic mindset with problem-solving and people management abilities.
• Familiarity with vocational training and skill development ecosystem.
Compensation & Benefits
Basic Salary: ₹18,000.00
CTC (Max): ₹480,000.00
Incentive: Performance-based incentives on company tie-ups and successful placement closures.
Minimum Output: Facilitate at least 10 new company tie-ups per quarter for placement of trained students and ensure minimum 30 placements per month across different job domains.
