Job Description


  • The Merchant Development Manager is responsible for expanding NCSDE’s e-commerce ecosystem by acquiring, onboarding, and managing merchants and sellers. The role involves identifying potential vendors, guiding them through registration and catalog setup, ensuring compliance with platform standards, and driving revenue growth through active merchant engagement. This position requires strategic planning, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to business development.

Key Responsibilities


  • • Identify, approach, and onboard new merchants and sellers across multiple regions. */ • Guide merchants through platform registration, catalog listing, and payment integration. */ • Ensure timely activation and quality compliance of merchant storefronts. */ • Develop strong relationships with merchants to enhance retention and long-term collaboration. */ • Monitor merchant performance metrics including sales volume, engagement, and feedback. */ • Work closely with marketing and operations teams to drive campaigns and promotions. */ • Resolve merchant queries and complaints to maintain high satisfaction levels. */ • Maintain a database of merchant contacts, agreements, and performance reports. */ • Implement strategies to expand merchant categories and increase product offerings. */ • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on merchant acquisition progress. */

Compensation & Benefits


  • Basic Salary: ₹14,000.00
  • CTC (Max): ₹300,000.00
  • Incentive: Performance incentive based on merchant acquisition, sales volume, and retention metrics.
  • Minimum Output: Onboard at least 50 new merchants per quarter to the NCSDE e-commerce platform. Ensure complete profile creation, catalog upload, and activation of merchant stores within 7 days of signing. Achieve monthly sales targets as agreed with senior management.
